Apple Pay. The easy way to pay everyday

Using Apple Pay is simple and it works with the devices you use every day. Your card information is secure because it isn’t stored on your device or shared when you pay. Paying in stores, apps and on the web has never been easier, safer, or more private.*

NOTE: You must have PayWave enabled on your physical card to use a digital wallet. 

Set up is simple

Adding your card to Apple Pay is easy. Here’s how to get started:

Orange Credit Union - Mobile App

  • Download our Mobile App from the App Store (you must be registered for Internet Banking)
  • Go to the Cards menu
  • Press the Apple Pay icon 

iPhone

  • Open the Wallet app
  • Tap the plus sign in the upper-right corner
  • Enter your card’s security code to add your credit or debit card from your iTunes account. Or, select Add a different card and use your camera to enter the card information*

Apple Watch

  • Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone
  • Tap Wallet & Apple Pay and select Add a Credit or Debit Card
  • Enter your card’s security code to add your credit or debit card from your iTunes account. Or, select Add a different card and use your camera to enter the card information*

iPad

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap Wallet & Apple Pay and select Add Credit or Debit Card
  • Enter your card’s security code to add your credit or debit card from your iTunes account. Or, select Add a different card and use your camera to enter the card information*

When you add your Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card to Apple Pay, the card will be defaulted to the Visa Network for payments with Apple Pay. To access the eftpos network:

On iPhone

  • Open the Wallet app
  • Tap your Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card
  • Tap the more button
  • Choose the network

On Apple Watch

  • Double-click the side button
  • Select your Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card
  • Firmly press the display
  • Choose the network

If you have added your Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card to Apple Pay from our mobile app only the Visa network will be available for purchases with Apple Pay. To access both the Visa and eftpos networks you will need to remove and re-add your Visa debit card (see FAQs below).

Paying in stores

Apple Pay is the easiest way to pay in stores with your iPhone and Apple Watch. You can quickly check out using the devices you carry every day.

Paying in apps and on the web

Use Apple Pay to make purchases in all kinds of apps on your iPhone and iPad. Paying is as simple as selecting Apple Pay at checkout and completing the payment using Face ID or Touch ID. Apple Pay is also the easier, safer way to pay online in Safari on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac, as you no longer have to create an account or fill out lengthy forms. Simply pay and go. You can also pay on your MacBook Pro using Touch ID.*

Frequently Asked Questions  

  How do I change the default payment network?

When you add your Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card to Apple Pay, the card will be defaulted to the Visa network for payments with Apple Pay. You can also access all the benefits of the eftpos network on Apple Pay with your Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card.

To change the payment network on iPhone

  • Open the Wallet app, 

  • tap on your Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card

  • tap the symbol and choose the network. 

  • You can also change the payment network prior to tapping your device. Simply, authenticate, choose network on screen, then tap device for payment.

To change the payment network on Apple Watch

  • double-click the side button and select your Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card

  • firmly press the display and choose the network.

If you added your Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card to Apple Pay from our mobile app you will only be able to access the Visa network when making purchases with Apple Pay. To access both the Visa and eftpos networks you will need to remove and re-add your Visa debit card.  

  How do I update my Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card in Apple Pay to include the eftpos payment network?

To update your Card on iPhone and Apple Watch

Remove your Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card from Apple Pay on your iPhone

 - Open Wallet, tap your Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card, tap , then tap Remove Card.

Remove your Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card from Apple Pay on your Apple Watch

 - Open the Watch app on your iPhone, go to the My Watch tab, tap Wallet & Apple Pay, tap the card, then tap Remove Card.

Add your Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card back into Apple Pay on your iPhone

 - On iPhone, Open the Wallet app, tap the “+” sign in the upper-right corner then tap ‘Add a Different Card’ follow the prompts. (Do not choose previously provisioned card option)

Update your Card on Apple Watch

  Can I get cash out with my Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card with Apple Pay?

You may be able to get cash out at selected merchants with your Orange Credit Union Visa Debit card by selecting 'eftpos CHQ' or 'eftpos SAV' in Apple Pay.

  Will I be able to view my Apple Pay transactions within the Wallet app?

Yes, you will be able to view the last 10 transactions made using Apple Pay on that device within the Wallet app. 

  What should I do if my card is lost or stolen?

You should contact us straight away on (02) 6362 4466, use Card Management function on our Mobile App or call 1800 648 027 (after hours) so the lost or stolen card can be cancelled and no further purchases made.

When the replacement card is issued we will automatically update Apple Pay with the new details for you and send you a text message to let you know you can start using Apple Pay again.

You can then continue to make purchases using Apple Pay before your new card arrives. You may be limited to transactions under $100 until your new PIN arrives.

It can take up to 24 hours for Apple Pay to be updated with the new details.
