Community Grants Support Program 2021

Celebrating 15 years since first introduced, Orange Credit Union is pleased to announce the Community Grants Support Program Committee is now reviewing applications for 2021. A large number of applications have been received as part of this year's program from a wide range of groups across the Orange region. Thank you to the groups who have reached out to Orange Credit for support with their programs this year.

CEO, Mr Andrew de Graaff said Orange Credit Union was founded on ‘helping people to help themselves and each other’ so the team are passionate about developing the community where we work, live and play now and for future generations.

“We are proud to ‘give back’ to strengthen our community and support those who are making a real difference to improve the lives of others,” Mr de Graaff said.

“Through the efforts of our team backing locals, over 180 local organisations in Orange and the surrounding region have received grant funding support totalling almost $450,000."

“This valuable contribution has helped to deliver local programs, events and projects across many sectors of the community, including education, financial services, culture, sports, recreation, medical, environment that may have otherwise been out of reach," he said.

A wide range of not-for-profit organisations, community groups, schools, local government projects have strengthened their offering as previous successful recipients of small grants (up to $5000).

Online applications for the 2021 Community Grants Support Program have just closed. Successful recipients will be notified of the outcome in the coming weeks.
