What types of applications will be considered?

Applications must be in line with our community positioning criteria including:

  • Recipient of funding must be located within the Orange and or local community districts
  • Quality and applicability of the proposed project must reflect the mission and values of the Orange Credit Union where the profile and awareness of Orange Credit Union is enhanced within the local community
  • Fill a recognised need, and benefit the community at large

Preference will be given to activities that are open to the general community and mostly benefit members of Orange and district communities

These guidelines will not cover every possibility, opportunity or special need. For that reason, all community support applications are reviewed on an individual basis.

What types of applications will not be considered?

Your application will NOT be considered for funding under the following criteria:

  • Operating or administrative costs
  • Any group which represents a conflict of interest for Orange Credit Union
  • The promotion of religious beliefs
  • Individual participation in a sports activity or pageant
  • Any group which is a commercial business whose sole purpose is for financial gain
How to Apply for Community Support?

We are currently accepting applications for support. Please complete an Application Form no later than Friday, 29th November 2019

  Application Evaluation Process

Your request for our community support will be evaluated on the information that you provide in your application.

It is important to be very clear in your reasons for request, how the funds will be used, and the benefits that Orange Credit Union can expect from our participation.  This enables us to evaluate projects on their merit against eligibility and assessment criteria.

Unclear or incomplete applications will not be viewed favourably.

  Approval and Funding of Support

All applicants will be notified in writing of the outcome of their application.

Funding will take place upon our receipt of invoices and proof of promotion/advertising.

  Funding Credit and Promotion

In return for our participation in your event, Orange Credit Union may request the following inclusions, but not limited to:

  • Inclusion in your publicity opportunities (press releases, news stories, articles and website references). For example: “This project/event has received funding through a donation/sponsorship from Orange Credit Union”
